As it was reported earlier, director Ajay Bhupathi is all set to direct Naga Chaitanya in his next film. A source has now confirmed that Chaitanya’s wife, Samantha, too, has been roped in to act in the film.
The couple has previously worked together in the film Majili, which released only recently and went on to become Chaitanya’s best film so far. We have now reliably learnt that the couple will be seen acting opposite each other in their next film.
“It was actually Samantha who offered to work in the film after Ajay narrated the story to her,” said a source close to the actress. The film’s shooting will begin soon after both Samantha nd Chaitanya wrap up shooting for their current projects. “Chaitanya is presently busy with Venky Mama and Samantha is shooting for the remake of 96, so we can expect Ajay’s film to go on floors only after the two wrap up their ongoing projects,” said the source.
Apparently, the filmmakers are also planning to rope in the Tamil actor and National-award winner Bobby Simha for an important role in the film.
