Much before the release of her yet-untitled Telugu debut opposite Kalyanram, Malayalam actress Samyuktha Menon has bagged another interesting project.
The actress has been cast opposite Sai Dharam Tej in his forthcoming film, under director Karthik.
Apparently, the film is said to be a period drama, for which Tej would undergo physical transformation. Karthik, who’s seen Samyuktha’s earlier films, realised she could pull off any character and has the ability to play roles that have grey shades.
According to a trade source, the actress’s eye for detail is what impressed Karthik. “Samyuktha was all the more curious to understand the nuances of her role, along with the script and the writing. And as it is opposite Sai Tej, who is doing well for himself in the industry, Samyuktha was only all the more glad to come on board,” adds the source. The Under World actress is expected to join the film sets in summer.
