Vijay Deverakonda narrowly escaped a major accident on the sets of his forthcoming film, Dear Comrade in Kakinada on Monday and was left with minor injuries.
The actor was shooting for a scene where he was supposed to get into a moving train. He ran through the footboard, and lost grip and fell off. Luckily, the technicians on the sets used their presence of mind and pulled the actor away from the moving train. Vijay suffered only minor bruises but the shooting for the film has temporarily been called off.
The Geetha Govindam star, who is currently rejuvenating, took to his Twitter and posted, “Met prediction - Cyclonic winds and Rough Sea. Me - Shoot Cancelled & Chillll (sic).”
Rashmika Mandanna is the female lead of the film, which is being directed by Bharat Kamma. Mythri Movies is bankrolling the action entertainer, which is slated for release in 2019 summer.
