Ashok Galla, Krishna’s grandson, is all set to make his debut as an actor in Tollywood. Ashok is the son of businessman and Telugu Desam Parliament member Galla Jayadev.
The actor’s debut has been confirmed by his father as he posted a picture of him on his Facebook page and wrote ‘Meet my son, Ashok Galla’, introducing him to the rest of the world.
Interestingly, Ashok’s parents’ families are all well-settled and popular in films and politics. Mahesh Babu’s sister and Krishna’s elder daughter, Padmavathi, is married to Galla Jayadev.
“Ashok had earlier shown interest to enter films but Jayadev wanted his son to look after his business. He also explained to Ashok about the industry and how it is not easy to become a good actor and get stardom,” says a source. Later, he had to succumb to his son’s interests.
Ashok has acted as a child artiste in Mahesh Babu’s film Naani, which released in 2004. Presently, Ashok’s photos are doing the rounds on social media where people are talking about his debut.
The source also revealed that at present, Ashok is undertaking training in acting and the details of who is going to direct him is still not known. “His entry has just been announced and it is too early to speak about other details,” adds the source.
