A few days ago, Chota K. Naidu and Kajal Agarwal were the subject of much discussion, after the ‘kiss incident’ at the Kavachaam film event. But now, the focus has shifted onto Bellamkonda Sreenivas, the lead actor of the film, who will be playing a cop in the thriller. The filmmakers have announced the release date as December 7. The film is being shot by first-time director Srinivas Mamilla. The shooting of Kavachaam has been completed and post-production work is currently underway.
The film also stars Kajal Agarwal, while actress Mehreen plays the second lead. B’wood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh has been cast in a negative role. Harshavardhan Rane is also seen in a key role in the film. “The film has shaped up very well and it’s good to see Bellamkonda Sreenivas playing a cop. It will be interesting to see him in this new avatar and also how this film fares at the box-office,” says a source. There are high expectations of the young actor.
