Prabhas’s upcoming film Project Kalki 2898 AD already has an ensemble cast.
And now comes the cherry on the icing — the film’s director Nag Ashwin has reportedly roped in director S.S. Rajamouli for a cameo. There have been rumours of late that Rajamouli may be part of Project Kalki. However, the buzz died down when the filmmakers did not comment. But we have reliably learnt that
Rajamouli has indeed agreed
to appear in the film. The clincher was that the sci-fi film stars Prabhas with whom he shares a great rapport.
Rajamouli also shares cordial relations with the makers of Project Kalki too, and his nod is a gesture of friendship to both the actor and the makers. “Rajamouli shot for the cameo recently; he liked the way Nag Ashwin has mounted the pro-
ject on such a massive scale and was impressed with his pre-visualisation and directorial techniques,” a source says.
Post the super success of Baahubali and RRR, Rajamouli gained global fame.
He signed a couple of endorsements including that of a mobile company.
