Balayya evergreen song Danchave Menatta Kuthura in Bhagvanth Kesari?

Seasoned star Balakrishna's evergreen chartbuster ‘Danchave Menatta Kuthura’ from his blockbuster film ‘Mangammagari Manavudu’ has been reportedly rehashed by director Anil Ravipudi. It has been shot on Balakrishna and Kaajal Agarwal for his upcoming action film ‘Bhagavanth Kesari’.

“Danchave Menatta Kuthura’ was a sensational chartbuster from Balakrishna's film ‘Mangammagari Manavudu ‘ which was released in 1984 and set the box office on fire. The racy and foot-tapping number was shot on Balakrishna and Suhasini Manirathnam in a rural backdrop and it was composed by veteran music director K V Mahadevan. Now, this famous chartbuster has been rehashed by new-age composer Thaman with a modern tweak and it has come out well,” says a source.

The source further claims that Balakrishna agreed to rehash his old song when the director mooted this idea. "Balakrishna felt that it would suit the narrative and period of the film. The film moves to the 1970s-80s in the second half and captures the flashback portions of Balakrishna who appears as a tough cop in those episodes. So, he didn’t take much time to match dancing steps with Kajal in a typical rural setup and enjoyed grooving to his own song,” the source added.

However, the rehash number would be incorporated in ‘Bhagavanth Kesari’ four to five days after it releases on October 19. “The makers wanted to spring a surprise on Nandamuri fans and would to add this peppy number after a couple of days to liven up the proceeding and also to draw in repeat audience,” the source concludes.
