The suspense over Chiranjeevi’s 151st film, Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy is over as it was officially launched on Wednesday. In a low key affair, Chiranjeevi’s family along with the director Surender Reddy did a pooja ceremony at Ram Charan’s office.
“Actually, they wanted to launch the film in a big way in September, but they were told that Wednesday is a very auspicious day, so they did the honours without much fanfare,” says a source.
The writers of the film, the Paruchuri brothers along with Chiranjeevi’s brother-in-law Allu Aravind also attended the muhurat. The makers are planning to release the first look and the motion poster of the film on the occasion of Chiranjeevi’s birthday on August 22. Though the makers are yet to finalise the final cast, the source reveals that Nayanthara has been roped in for a key role and talks are on with Amitabh Bachchan for another important role.
