After a three-year hiatus, director Veerabhadram is coming up with Chuttalabbayi starring Aadi and Namita Pramod. The movie will hit the screens on Friday. The director’s last film Bhai didn’t do well. “Bhai didn’t have enough entertainment quotients. People want entertainment and witty dialogues, which is there in Chuttalab-bayi,” says Veerabhadram.
Talking about the gap between his projects, he says, “In this industry, if one film flops, it’s not easy to get another project immediately. The gap happened since a couple of projects failed to start.” Interestingly, his first two films — Poolarangadu and Ahana Pellanta were hits. The movie has Aadi in the role of Recovery Babji and it marks the Telugu debut of Malayalam actress Namita. Sai Kumar is also playing a key role.
