Actor Sharwanand’s forthcoming gangster flick Ranarangam is slowly picking up buzz.
While the film will see the actor playing two roles across different timelines, the action thriller will apparently be screenplay-based.
“Ranarangam is a screenplay-based flick and the audience will get to see a sharp and different style of writing,” says director Sudheer Varma.
Since the film is set across two different timelines, Sharwa will be seen essaying contrasting roles.
“He plays a 25-year-old and a 45-year-old,” reveals Sudheer, adding, “The way he has transformed himself for both the roles is commendable. From head-to-toe, he has undergone a complete makeover with ease, and did not take much time to get into the characters.”
Apparently, one of Sharwa’s earlier gangster flicks, Prasthanam, inspired Sudheer to cast the actor in his film.
“Sharwa was in his elements in the role of a gangster in Prasthanam; it inspired me to collaborate with him for an action-based film. I’m glad that I got to do so with Ranarangam.”...
