The director of Nikhil Siddhartha’s next film has been officially announced. Sharan Koppisetti, a debutant, is all set to direct the actor. There were reports earlier that this film will be directed by popular choreographer, Raju Sundaram, but surprisingly, the production house, A.K. Entertainments, announced a different name. Interestingly, two directors — Chandoo Mondeti and Sudheer Varma, who were earlier introduced by Nikhil, will work on the dialogues and screenplay of the film. The actor had revealed that the film is not an exact remake of the Kannada blockbuster Kirik Party, but that only the plot outline has been taken. It’s a film with a college backdrop and the project will go on floors soon. “Some differences cropped up between Raju Sundaram and the production house, as the choreographer wanted to work on the remake on his own terms. The lead actor however, insisted on approaching his director friends for help to change the script completely, which didn’t go down well with the choreographer,” says a source. After a long deliberation, the production house announced Sharan Koppisetti, as the new director!
