Naga Shaurya’s untitled film, to be helmed by first-time director Sai Sreeram, has apparently been put on the back burner. Although the actor has signed the film, apparently, he wasn’t impressed with the developments of the script.
However, Kona Venkat, the project’s creative head and presenter argues, “Shaurya liked the script and even signed it. Actress Nivetha Thomas was also on board. After the super success of Chalo, he took a different turn. He is demanding a higher pay and also citing that he does not like the script. But didn’t he realise that before Chalo?
Meanwhile, Shankar Prasad, the actor’s father states, “It’s true we have signed the film, but we never received the full script and the story has been in the developing stage forever. Moreover, the film was supposed to start in November and it didn’t. All this while, Shaurya has been waiting for the film and growing a beard for the look without signing any other film. Also, Kona Venkat took away Sai Sreeram for two months to Vizag for another project, so how is this justified?”
