The coming days are crucial for director Puri Jagannadh as he will be directing two big stars. The director has faced a lot of criticism for his last few films and that makes things even more challenging.
Temper, that released in 2015, was the only film that was a hit. The ones that released before and after Temper have been duds. Puri will direct movies with Balakrishna and Venkatesh. And by this month end, his film Rogue will be releasing too. In the meantime, according to a source, the director has started seeing a psychiatrist for counselling.
“The director is under pressure to deliver a hit and is now directing two big stars. To tackle the situation and pressure, he is undergoing counselling,” says the source. “It’s not a big deal as many celebrities undergo counselling, but it is always kept a secret. Even the doctor promises to not reveal the celebrities’ names,” says a source from the industry on condition of anonymity.
Puri Jagan is not alone. Many film personalities feel low when their films don’t do well at the box office. It’s known that some of them don’t even come out of their home for long periods of time, while a few find other means to tackle the situation.
