Comedians Rahul Ramakrishna and Priyadarshi are not only acting together in the film Mithai but they have also helped the director in the making of this dark comedy. As director Prashanth Kumar is not familiar with the Telugu language, both Rahul and Priyadarshi volunteered to help him with the dialogues.
The audio of this film was released only recently and they received support from many friends including directors Tharun Bhascker, Kranthi Madhav and Sri Harsha. Tharun says that he is happy for his friends Rahul and Priyadarshi. “I honestly did not expect these two actors to make it big in such a short span of time. I wish them greatsuccess,” says Tharun. Friend and director, Kranthi Madhav, says that he has been friends with the Mithai director since college days and that they used to be roommates! Sri Harsha, too, claims that Rahul is his best friend. Prashanth Kumar thanks his brother Prabhath for producing this film.
