Salaar ticket price to be cheaper than RRR?

Contrary to the reports that the distributors of 'Salaar' Part 1- Ceasefire' are trying to hike the tickets in Nizam region exorbitantly, a reliable source dismisses these rumours as baseless. "They have just sought nominal hike of Rs 100 hike on a ticket in multiplexes and Rs 50 hike in single screens which is far less than the ticket rates of 'RRR' which has crossed Rs 400 mark," he says and adds, "Mythri Movie Makers are hopeful about Telangana government giving them permission for hike. Actually, they want a cap of Salaar ticket pricing because they want to more people to watch and enjoy the film,'

Top producers-turned-distributors want to make movie making experience affordable and convenient for Telugu viewers. “Despite putting in around Rs 60 crores for Nizam region, Mythri is looking to recover their money in the long run with more footfalls and not in a hurry,” he points out. Of course, they don’t want to miss the grand openings and would like to cash in on it. “Opening collections are crucial for big ticket films like ‘Salaar’ which marks the heady combination of Prabhas and Prashanth Neel. Lucky director Rajamouli has kick-started the proceedings by buying the first ticket and it has garnered heavy advance bookings thereafter,” he adds.

They’ve also approached the newly formed government with specific requests and their other requests include permission for six shows on Day 1, starting from 4 am across Nizam, and special shows at selected screens on Day 1, beginning at 1 am and everything is under consideration and "they're quite hopeful since their demands are just and moderate,” he concludes.
