In real life, producer Nagababu and actor Allu Sirish share uncle-nephew relationship. However, in their forthcoming film, American Born Confused Desi (ABCD), Nagababu will be seen playing the role of Sirish’s father. This is the first time that Nagababu will be seen playing a father’s role for a hero from his own family. Apparently, it was the filmmakers who came up with the idea of having Nagababu as Sirish’s father. Since both of them are already close relatives, filmmakers felt their combination will be realistic too. When they approached Nagababu for the part, he agreed in a jiffy. The film is being directed by debutant Sanjeev Reddy.
