Sunny Leone to shake a leg in Vishal movie?

It is learnt that Shruti Haasan was approached by the makers earlier to do the special song, which did not work out for some reasons.

Sunny Leone is not new to Tamil industry. She has performed a groovy item number in the 2014 Jai starrer Vadacurry and was rumored then that she was paid a huge sum as remuneration. And it is a known secret that she has been roped in for a multilingual historical movie Veeramadevi to play the titular role by south director Vadivudayan. A few months back, the first look of the war drama where Sunny sporting a warrior look was unveiled. Given her filmy background, more recently, she faced the wrath of self-styled moral guardians from Karnataka who objected to filmmakers casting Sunny Leone in Veeramadevi as they claimed that it was an insult to the historical personality. They even threatened to stage a Padmaavat-like protest, if the makers do not replace another actress for Sunny.

A case filed in Madurai bench of Madras high court last month against casting Sunny as Veeramadevi and to ban the film was dismissed. The judges said, “All actors can play any roles that they deem fit and a film cannot be banned over such matters”.

Under these circumstances, we hear that the Jism actress has been roped in for Ayogya, the Tamil remake of Tollywood hit Temper which has Vishal in the lead. She has been brought on board for a special groovy track, which Nora Fatehi performed in the original.

However, an official announcement is yet to be made. It is learnt that Shruti Haasan was approached by the makers earlier to do the special song, which did not work out for some reasons.

Ayogya, which deals with a social issue, has Rashi Khanna as Vishal’s love interest and is directed by Venkat Mohan, a former assistant of AR Murugadoss.
