While shooting for his upcoming film Kalki, directed by Prashanth Varma of Awe fame, actor Rajashekar got injured. The actor doesn’t like shooting with a body double, so he enacts the scenes himself.
“In one particular action scene, few goons attack him and when he was to retaliate, a shotgun from the villain hit Rajasekhar’s head and shoulder too. It was a bad injury but Rajasekhar wanted to continue with the shoot, without taking a break,” said a source from the unit.
He was immediately given first aid and told to rest, as the injury was on the head, but the actor refused. Since there were many junior artistes involved too, the actor didn’t want the shoot postponed.
The makers had constructed a huge set at Gachibowli for this film. Rabin Subbu of Goodachari fame is the action choreographer. Though all precautionary measures were taken, the actor got injured.
