Senior actor Rajasekhar, his wife Jeevitha and their children have tested positive for COVID-19. The actor is undergoing treatment at a private hospital.
Rajasekhar was supposed to start shooting for a film, but last week he and his family developed some symptoms of the disease, and went in for tests. After the results were received, they started taking treatment.
In a tweet, Rajasekhar said “Jeevitha, kids and I have tested positive for corona and are currently being treated in the hospital. Both the kids are completely out of it, Jeevitha and I are feeling much better and will be back home soon(sic)!”
Confirming the news, Jeevitha, when contacted, said, “I am done with my treatment and I am absolutely fine.”
The film Rajasekhar was supposed to start work on is being directed by Neelakanta. It is likely that the actor will have to be in isolation for a few weeks.
