Senior actress Ramya Krishnan is all set to play a major role in Akash Puri’s upcoming film, Romantic. Ramya Krishna is one of the highest paid character actresses, and Puri Jagan, who is one of the producers, decided to bring her in for the film.
“The film’s shooting started few days ago and Puri Jagan wanted a big actress to play a powerful role in his film. Initially, the director wanted to get a Hindi actress, but Puri Jagan suggested Ramya Krishna’s name,” says a source.
Ramya Krishna also has been very choosy about the films she takes. After Baahubali, she has been seen in very few films, including Sailaja Reddy Alludu, Dev and Super Deluxe. “It’s a very important role in the film and she’s already joined the shoot,” informs the makers.
Anil Paduri is the director while Puri Jagannadh and Charmee Kaur are the producers.
