Pretty actress Ileana is back in the news today as she finally revealed her mystery man. The actor who is expecting her first child in a few months dropped the picture of her boy friend for the first time from their ‘date night’.
By giving more importance to her personal life, the actor has missed out on good opportunities in Telugu in the last one year. “Ileana was offered to play the female lead opposite megastar Chiranjeevi in ‘Bholaa Shankar’ and ‘Waltair Veeraiya’ but she declined them. Eventually, those roles were essayed by Tammanah and Shruti Haasan respectively. At that time, she was focused on her personal life and didn’t mind about film offers,” says a source.
It looks like Ileana is still beckoned by Telugu filmmakers since she ruled the roost in Tollywood in her heydays. “She became a happening star after massive hits like ‘Pokiri,’ “Kick’, ‘Jalsa’ and Julayi’ to carve a niche for herself in Telugu filmdom. Later, she moved to Hindi films with ‘Barfi’ and ‘Main Tere Hero’ and began to shun Telugu offers,” he adds.
No doubt, she returned to Telugu films opposite Ravi Teja in ‘Amar Akbar Antony’ but she drew flak for weight issues in the movie and thereafter she stayed away from Telugu movies for few years despite cutting down her weight and looking fit. “May be after delivering the baby, she may return to Tollywood since few Telugu heroes are still willing to work with her,” he concludes.
