Producer D.V.V. Danayya is shocked over reports that he didn’t pay full remuneration to Bharat Ane Nenu director Koratala Siva and female lead Kiara Advani. The producer says that he has been in the industry for many years now and has always had a perfect track record regarding remuneration.
“Many people appreciated Bharat Ane Nenu. It’s a huge blockbuster for me, the director and also superstar Mahesh Babu,” says Danayya, adding, “Some people are deliberately doing negative publicity and I completely deny it. No artiste or technician has ever visited my office for payment till now, as I always pay once their work is over.”
Stating that his reputation is more important than any remuneration, he says, “I know I made a good film. I spent nearly Rs 2 crore for the Assembly set and also spent a lot of money on the film promotions because of which it reached a vast majority of the audience and became one of the biggest blockbusters of the industry.”

Further, the producer says that even Kiara Advani was shocked to see the news. “Kiara is doing my next film too and she was shocked to read the news,” says Danayya, revealing that he is producing a few big projects, one of which is a high-budget multi-starrer directed by Rajamouli. “If I didn’t pay people correctly, how did I get these big projects?” he asks.
Koratala supports Danayya
Refuting the reports against producer Danayya, Koratala Siva says that it’s completely wrong news. “I have been associated with Danayya from a long time and I was supposed to do a film for him after Mirchi, but he waited. I got my remuneration even before the film released and he is one of the best producers we have in the industry after Rama Naidu,” says Koratala, adding that the producer paid both the cinematographers of the film in full. “Danayya now has three big projects in hand. If he didn’t pay for this film, how could he get these projects? It’s completely baseless news and I deny it,” says Koratala.
