Though the film fraternity is going through distressing times, we have some exciting news to share. We have reliably learnt that director Sekhar Kammula is geared to direct Dhanush in a breezy entertainer.
Talks between the actor and director have been going on since early this year, and their collaboration seems set. The film will be made in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. Narayan Das K. Narang and Puskur Rammohan Rao are bankrolling this trilingual. Since the plotline is universal and has the potential to appeal to all types of audiences, the makers want to make the film in three languages.
Interestingly, the producers’ earlier film, Love Story, which is awaiting release, was also directed by Sekhar Kammula. Sekhar is giving the final touches to the script and shooting will commence after the pandemic situation eases a bit
Dhanush, who earlier worked on Raanjhanaa and Shamitabh, is currently wrapping up Atrangi Re. This will probably be his next Hindi film.
