Balakrishna, who is supposed to start working on the NTR biopic, is all set to begin another film as well. The actor has given the green signal to director V.V. Vinayak’s project which is expected to be launched on May 27. The film will be produced by C. Kalyan, who previously produced Balakrishna’s Jai Simha.
“The producer met Balakrishna on Monday, and the actor gave his nod to the new project,” reveals a source. Earlier this year, V.V. Vinayak delivered Inttelligent, which turned out to be a dud and resulted in massive losses for C. Kalyan. At that time, Balakrishna promised the producer that he would do a film with him to help him recover his losses.
Meanwhile, Balakrishna is said to be on the lookout for a replacement for director Teja, who recently opted out of the NTR biopic. “Though there are a few names being mentioned, Balakrishna may end up making his debut as a director,” adds the source.
