Sonu Sood’s casual interview with a Mumbai-based tabloid went viral on Friday after the actor announced through the article that he would be seen in a key role in director Trivikram Srinivas’ next. Well, since the director’s next film is with Pawan Kalyan, within no time, the internet was abuzz with the news that the actor is set to make a comeback to Tollywood. But it turns out, there was some confusion. An official announcement from the film’s team cites that the actor isn’t part of the film at all! “Sonu Sood is not cast in Pawan Kalyan’s Trivikram film,” read an official statement.
But why did the actor go ahead and announce the same? “He had discussions with the director, but till an official signing happens, you never know how things pan out. And that’s how this scenario came up,” shares a source.
The film that stars Keerthy Suresh and Anu Emmanuel as the heroines has gone on the floors. The film, which has Anirudh Ravichander as the music composer will see Aadhi Pinisetty and Khushbu in key roles.
