Catherine Tresa ups the glam quotient

After roping in Rakul Preet Singh and Pragya Jaiswal as the female leads for Bellamkonda Sreenivas in his next film, director Boyapati Srinu is taking the glam quotient of the film a notch higher, with actress Catherine Tresa Alexander now shooting for a special song for the film.

Interestingly, in both his earlier films, Sreenivas shook a leg with Tamannaah for a special song. “It’s become a mandatory element in his films because audiences now expect a special song with a star actress. With Sarrainodu, Catherine has come closer to the audiences. Even Boyapati likes her work, and when names were being considered for a special song, hers was among the first names that cropped up,” reveals a source.

Catherine joined the sets of the film on Thursday, when visualisation of the song began at a set erected in Annapurna Studios. A production of Miriyala Ravinder Reddy, the film has music by Devi Sri Prasad.
