For his birthday on March 19, actor Mohan Babu has asked his well-wishers not to spend on garlands and boutiques and to instead send the money to an NGO.
“March 19, I grow a year younger. I have been celebrating my birthday amongst my children of Vidyanikethan since 1993. Every year I receive hundreds and hundreds of flower bouquets/garlands from admirers and fans. By the next day, most of these are disposed. From this year I have decided not to accept garlands or bouquets. Instead I would like to request all to give money they wish to spend on different organizations.”
He added that he was impressed with an NGO that was working with orphan children. “I have come across Miracle foundation recently and I am very impressed with the huge difference they have made in the lives of 3,000 odd orphan children. We need more selfless people like Caroline Boudreaux, the founder of Miracle Foundation. No amount is less. Even if it is Rs 50, I would ask you to send that money to this foundation,” says the actor.
