On Wednesday a rumour spread that Jr NTR had been injured on the sets of director Koratala Siva’s film Janatha Garage, which is currently being shot in Mumbai. It was later known that the news had come from a fake Twitter account named after the film.
Production house Mythri Movie Makers clarified that it was fake news. “NOTE: All the official news about #NTR26 will be announced from this id! Please don’t follow fake accounts and believe in rumours,” they tweeted.
Jr NTR is playing an IIT student in the film, while Samantha and Nithya Menen are the female leads. Malayalam superstar Mohanlal is also playing an important character.
“Shooting will continue for another 15 days in Mumbai and then shift to Hyderabad,” says a source from the unit. Nithya Menen will join the shoot in a couple of days followed by Samantha.
