Ever since the Tamil film Maanaadu (2021), directed by Venkat Prabhu, was a runaway success, there has been a growing demand to adapt the science fiction action thriller in Telugu. After many names have popped up, it turns out, Ravi Teja and Siddhu Jonnalagadda are set to star in the Telugu version. Both the actors have expressed keenness to be part of the remake. While the Tamil version starred Silambarasan and S. J. Suryah, the Telugu remake has Ravi Teja and Siddhu
Bringing the two actors together is director Praveen Sattaru. He had taken on the mantle to direct the remake version. “The remake version may have a few changes to suit the sensibilities. Parveen feels the story and the screenplay need to be reworked and given a new spin. He is presently filming actor Varun Tej’s film, and he will move on to Maanaadu remake after he wraps it up,” informs a source.
