Actor Mohan Babu and his children sons Vishnu and Manoj and daughter Lakshmi are not actively involved with films anymore. According to a source, Vishnu is busy looking after their educational institutions and has plans to expand in this field. Manoj too has no films on hand, had even posted on social media that he wants to serve the people do social work.
The father Mohan Babu is spending most of his time in Tirupati meeting local people, thereby giving a hint that they want to join politics. He earlier served as Rajya Sabha member, representing the Telugu Desam Party. But now, all is not well with him and Chandrababu Naidu.
Instead Mohan Babu’s family is very close to Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. His daughter-in-law Viranica is Jagan’s cousin. The families have been meeting often, say sources. Mohan Babu is hopeful that someone from his family, either himself or any one of his children gets a ticket to contest the coming Lok Sabha elections.
