I'm good at grasping things: Ritu Varma
Ritu Varma is currently shooting for a Tamil film titled Kannum Kannum Kollai Adithal, directed by Desingh Periyasam. The actress, who is paired opposite Dulquer Salmaan, says that she is picking up Tamil easily.
“I’m not finding the language difficult, may be because I know Telugu. I am a good at grasping things, plus the dialogues are being given to me well in advance, so I am able to understand the meaning of the words quickly,” she shares.
Since this is her second Tamil film — after Dhruva Natchathiram — in quick succession, is she fascinated with Tamil cinema? “I just want to do different kinds of films, that’s it! Also, people shouldn’t get bored of seeing me in the same role,” states the Pelli Choopulu star.
Describing her co-star Dulquer as a cool guy, the actress shares, “He’s a performer and is effortless. I like several of his films and our conversations on the sets were about films. I used to ask him about his experience of working on various genre films.”
