When actress Rashmika Mandanna signed her first Telugu film, the language was very alien to her. In fact, she reveals, “Adapting to Telugu was a bit confusing initially due to the similarities with my mother tongue, Kodavatakk. I used to end up saying the Telugu words in the way they are pronounced in my language. But I have become familiar with Telugu now.”
In fact, such is her fluency in the language now that she apparently speaks it with extreme comfort. A source close to the actress reveals, “She has gotten so good with it that the team decided that she should dub for herself. They are quite happy with the output.” Starring Naga Shaurya as the male lead, Chalo is directed by debutant Venky Kudumula.
