Hariprriya, who was last seen in Ee Varsham Sakshiga, is all set to make her Tollywood comeback after a three-year long break. The actress will play one of the female leads in Balakrishna’s upcoming film. “I am excited to stage a come back to Telugu cinema,” she says.

The actress, who currently has as many as six Kannada projects including Kurukshetra, Life Jothe Ond Selfie, Kanaka, Samhara and Anjaniputra, adds, “In Kannada and Tamil, I have been getting roles where I can showcase my acting skills, so I have been extremely busy. Although I was offered a few films in Telugu, nothing excited me. But I found my role and the plotline of Balakrishna’s film to be refreshing.”

And for someone who has played only leading roles of late, does Hariprriya have any qualms with playing the second fiddle (as Nayanathara is the leading lady) in the K.S. Ravi Kumar directorial? She replies, “I always look at the script and whether my character is in sync with the narrative.”
