Glam diva Pooja Hegde is not in a hurry to sign movies and just taking her own time to pick her next. Despite some fiasco with ‘Guntur Kaaram’, Pooja is unfazed and confident about bouncing back into the reckoning. “It is just a matter of time. Right now, she has just taken a small break and relaxing at home in Mumbai. She is spending time watching movies and dining out with friends and going through books,” says a source. A few months ago, there were rumors that Pooja Hegde would play a love interest to Sai Dharam Tej.“Nothing has been finalized and she is also not in a hurry to commence her next Telugu film, although she is open to listening to scripts,” he points out.
Actually, she reached the top by doing films with stars like Allu Arjun, NTRjr, Mahesh Babu, and Prabhas and her pay packet touched the magic Rs 3 crore mark as she was a sought-after-actress for A-listers in Tollywood. "She will again work with big stars because she is known for her professionalism and dedication," he adds.
No doubt, she earned a fan following for her gorgeous looks and subtle performances in films like ‘Ala Vainkuntapuramlo’ and ‘Arvinda Sametha’ and got noticed even in star-driven movies to give herself an edge over her rivals like Rashmika, Sreeleela and Krithi Shetty. “She is unfazed about competition since there is enough space for everyone. She has built a reputation and brand which will keep her in good stead,” he points out.
However, her Bollywood dreams were shattered after her film ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan tanked at the box office.
