Japanese Lensman Tetsuo Nagata for Rana-Teja Action Flick?

Rana and Teja are teaming up again after the blockbuster film Nene Raju Nene Mantri' and planning to spin box office magic again.

Renowned Japanese cinematographer Tetsu Nagata would be cranking the camera for hotshot star Rana Daggubati and director Teja's movie which is touted to be an action-adventure. He has worked for classics like ‘The Officers Ward,” ‘Whats’ Life’, ‘125 Years Memory” and ‘Micmacs’ and showcased his eminent cinematography skills. “He is already doing a Hindi film ‘Emergency’ starring Kangna Ranaut and has authentically captured the best periodic visuals for the film,” says a source and adds, “Director Teja had a few meetings with Nagata and in all probability, he would be cranking the camera. Despite being a Japanese, he is based out in France,” he adds.

With Rana Daggubati’s film being billed as an action-adventure to be shot in picturesque locales of Sri Lanka and other breathtaking locales, Tetsuo was the best choice to deliver a visual spectacle to the audience. “He has worked for war movies, comedies, and dramas besides action adventures in his illustrious career and showcased his versatility. He is doing films in Hindi and now set to debut in Tollywood, as he liked the larger-than-life script in principle,” he points out.

With Rana looking for a pan-India appeal, they are roping in big names from across the world to dish out a niche action saga on par with the best in the business. The film is being produced by Achanta Gopinath on a lavish scale and it is going be a magnum opus.
