Nora Fatehi In Hyderabad For Look Test & Workshop Of Varun Tej's Matka

Bollywood actress and dancer Nora Fatehi will be playing one of the heroines in Mega Prince Varun Tej's maiden Pan India movie Matka with director Karuna Kumar of Palasa fame. The movie to be produced on a grand scale by Mohan Cherukuri (CVM) and Dr Vijender Reddy Teegala of Vyra Entertainments had its majestic launching ceremony recently.

Nora Fatehi will have a dance number and her character is very crucial. The starlet is giving in everything to play a challenging character in the movie, though the shoot is yet to begin. Playing a Vizag girl in the movie story of which takes place between 1958-1982 itself is a big challenge. Nora Fatehi is in Hyderabad and she is there with the team for 3 days.

Initially, they conducted a look test on the actress, who then joined the workshop to prepare for her character. Nora who loved the subject and is willing to play her role doesn't want anything to go wrong during the making stages. The team is surprised with the dedication levels of the starlet.

Meenakshi Chowdary is the other actress opposite Varun Tej in the film, wherein Naveen Chandra and Kannada Kishore are the other prominent cast.

A huge vintage set depicting Vizag in the 60s will be constructed for the movie. The team indeed is taking extra care to get the milieu and the feel of the 60s. Ashish Teja is the production designer and Suresh is the art director.

The makers zeroed in on a team of wonderful technicians to work for the movie. GV Prakash Kumar who is one of the busiest composers in the south will be providing music, while Priyaseth will handle the cinematography. Karthika Srinivas R is the editor.

Matka has a universal appeal, thus it will be made at a Pan India level. This indeed is the first Pan India project for Varun Tej and it will release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages.
