Director Sankalp Reddy, who made the first Telugu underwater war film Ghazi, is now directing the first Telugu space film, starring Varun Tej, Lavanya Tripathi and Aditi Rao Hydari as the lead actors. Shooting of the film is already underway.
On the occasion of Independence Day, the makers released the first look of the film with Varun Tej as an astronaut working in space. They also titled the film as Antariksham 9000 KMPH and announced the release date as December 21.
The makers say that they are infusing the film with high technical values while keeping interest in the storyline intact. Sankalp Reddy, who got plenty of accolades for Ghazi, is confident that like his debut film, this film too will create a sensation in Indian cinema.
