Realising the shortage of girl dancers and choreographers in Telugu film industry, Telugu Film and TV Dancers Association is organizing dance auditions for aspiring dancers on Film Chamber premises in Hyderabad from July 20-22.
“We urge all talented dancers to take part in these auditions and make a career in Tollywood,” says dance master Anee and adds, “Our 30-year-old dancers union has taken up this initiative and resolved to give membership to selected dancers as we need more lady dancers and choreographers,". He further says that Telugu film industry boasts of ace choreographers like Johnny, Shekhar and Ganesh masters who are ruling the roost in south.

Mentioning about the shortage of dancers in the industry, Telugu Film Federation president Vallabhaneni Anil Kumar said, "'Our Telugu film industry is growing in leaps and bounds but we are running short of dancers. Our dancers have excelled at national and international level. Right now, the demand for our dancers is high. Hundreds of dancers are required for each song, so more dancing talent is needed".
