“The audiences will see a new me in this film,” adds the actor. “Playing rugged roles always gives me a different kind of high.” Sumanth has always experimented with roles and insists that he always aspires for scripts with a more realistic approach.
“I am constantly looking at branching out to new terrains because that’s when you can push yourself. And the best part is that I stuck to this philosophy irrespective of the box office results,” he says, adding, trying to constantly present himself in a new form with every film is an ongoing effort.
So even as others are slowly getting accustomed to shooting in the new normal, Sumanth actually shot for three films during the pandemic. “I’ve wrapped up three films including Anaganaga Oka Rowdy, Kapatadhaari and another romantic comedy. So I got used to shooting in the new normal,” he smiles, adding that this is something everyone is getting used to....
