Shivani, the daughter of well-known actor couple Jeevitha and Rajasekhar is all set to foray into filmdom. While she has been flooded with several offers in Tamil films, she is apparently in talks to play the lead in the sequel of a hit film Kumki, which explored the relationship between an elephant and its mahout.
“The makers were looking for a fresh face to play the female lead. Shivani can pull off a tribal character and so, they want to rope her in. Talks are on for now, but it looks like she’s going to be okayed soon,” reveals a source, adding that the film’s shoot will begin in July.
If the sequel works out, it will be a great debut for Shivani as she will work with critically acclaimed director Prabhu Solomon. Vikram Prabhu, who was part of the first part, will also star in the sequel, which will be shot in the forests of Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
