Following in the footsteps of Jagapathi Babu, another Tollywood actor wants to make a comeback as a villain. Senior actor Srikanth wants to start afresh and is ready to do negative characters.
Interestingly, Srikanth started his career with negative roles and later became a lead actor. He is known for his family dramas and has done more than 100 films in 25 years. But now, the actor feels that he can’t take the risk of playing a lead actor.
“There are talks going on that he may be cast opposite a big star in a Tamil film as a villain,” says a source. The actor was last seen in Allu Arjun’s latest film Sarrainodu, where he played Arjun’s uncle. While he is getting character roles, he wants to play negative roles as well to showcase his talent, adds the source.
