Anjali’s Chitrangada, which was supposed to be released last year but was postponed due to technical problems, is finally complete.
After her horror film Geethanjali two years back, Anjali hasn’t had a hit. Chitrangada too, is a woman-oriented horror film and relies mostly on Anjali. Directed by Ashok, the bilingual will release in Telugu and Tamil.
“The reason behind the delay was because the graphic work wasn’t done and they were also looking for suitable dates in Telugu and Tamil,” says a source from the unit.
Post-production of the film is complete and it will be sent for censor clearance in a few days. “They are planning to release the film in the first week of July,” adds the source.
