Mega Star Chiranjeevi has started shooting for the second schedule of Sye Raa. Actress Tamannaah is among the many people who have joined the team for this schedule.
Director Surender Reddy, who needs a village backdrop for a few scenes, has reportedly decided to re-use Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam set.
“The makers of Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam erected elaborate village sets at Bhooth Bangala in Hyderabad. Now, Chiranjeevi is using those same sets with some modifications,” a source reveals.
“Sye Raa is a period drama based in the British era. The makers needed a village set, and that’s the reason they opted for this,” adds the source.
Chiranjeevi plays the role of freedom fighter Narasimha Reddy in the film, and Nayanthara plays his wife. Amitabh Bachchan will be seen as Chiranjeevi’s guru.
