Bigg Boss to be 100-days long

The channel is, however, willing to reveal that Nani will replace Jr NTR as the host for this season, the source reveals.

After the massive success of Season 1 of the Telugu version of Bigg Boss hosted by Jr NTR, the makers of the show have decided to extend it from a 70-day format to a 100-day format. Season 2 of the show will begin on June 10 at a private studio in Hyderabad.

Season 1 of the show featured 14 original participants and two wild-card entrants. “There will be 14 participants in Season 2 as well, but we have extended the duration of the show to 100 days,” a source from the channel reveals. The producers of the show are also considering increasing the prize money.

Though there are rumours doing the rounds regarding the faces to be expected on the show, sources from the channel dismiss them as false. “Some of the same names were circulated before the first season as well. We will reveal the participants only on the first day of the show,” says the source.

The channel is, however, willing to reveal that Nani will replace Jr NTR as the host for this season. “Nani’s promotional video was shot a few days ago. It will be aired soon. He is being paid Rs 4 crore as remuneration for the entire season,” the source reveals.
