While we earlier reported that Galla Ashok (the son of TDP MP Galla Jaydev) is set for a foray into showbiz, we have now learnt that the project will be helmed by Krishna Reddy Gangadhasu, who had earlier directed Aadu Magaadra Bujji.
Apparently, the unit has recently conducted a location recce in Sri Lanka and is said to have zeroed in on a few exotic spots. Dil Raju will be bankrolling the film for which the pre-production work is on in full swing. The film is likely to go on the floors next month.
A source in the know says, “Dil Raju was apparently impressed with Krishna Reddy’s directorial skills (in Aadu Magaadra Bujji) and knowledge of the craft. He believes that the latter is the right choice to helm Galla Ashok’s debut project.”
Meanwhile, Ashok underwent training in acting over the last one year and is geared for his debut.
