The first look of Jambalakidi Pamba has been unveiled. The comic caper is said to be the rehashed version of the 1993 film with the same name.
While the yesteryear film directed by late E.V.V. Satyanarayana (Allari Naresh’s father) had Naresh and Aamani as the lead pair, the modern-version, directed by J.B. Murali Krishna, stars Srinivas Reddy and Siddhi Idnani.
Speaking on the occasion, the director said, “We all know how big a hit Jambalakidi Pamba was. It really had the audience in splits. The modern version, too, will be on the same lines. The story and the screenplay have been carefully crafted and we are confident that the film will live up to the expectations.”
The film portrays, in a hilarious way, what happens when a man turns into a woman and vice versa.
