Looks like the quest for the second leading lady in Nagarjuna and Nani’s multi-starrer film has finally come to an end. After making a successful Tollywood debut with Malli Raava, Aakanksha Singh has now bagged a plum project.
The Jaipur-born actress is paired opposite Nag in the comic caper directed by Sriram Adittya. Akanksha’s performance in her earlier films and her television stint has been the clincher.

Talking about her inclusion, the film’s producer, Aswani Dutt said, “It’s a substantial role and we have been looking for an actress who is experienced and yet will bring a fresh appeal to the character. We believe she would ably fit the role and can do justice to it. We are glad to have her on board.”
Rashmika Mandanna is the other leading lady who is paired opposite Nani. The film, which is currently being shot, will see Nagarjuna playing a don while Nani will be seen as a doctor.
