The husband of popular actress Jayasudha, Nitin Kapoor, who committed suicide on Tuesday evening, will be cremated in Mumbai. Many expected that the family would bring his body to Hyderabad, but it turns out they decided to perform all the ceremonies in Mumbai with close family members in attendance.
“Nitin hails from Mumbai and he has many relatives there. So, the cremation will be held there. A condolence meet will be held in Hyderabad later,” says a member from the family. Not many from the film industry visited Jayasudha in Mumbai.
“Her close friend and actress Jayaprada came to see her and has remained with her since. Apart from her, Jeetendra and his family members are all present,” says the source. Jeetendra is Nitin’s cousin and Jayasudha’s family maintains close ties with the Hindi superstar’s family. A few Tollywood personalities called on Jayasudha to console her. Meanwhile, a few Telugu television channels tried to grab a few visuals, but family members politely told them that they didn’t want to entertain the media.
