Rakul Preet, who was once in great demand in Telugu, and worked with top actors like Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, Ram Charan and Jr NTR., reaching the top league, is now out of favour. Following a couple of flops, Telugu filmmakers are looking for other options. After Manmadhudu 2 last year, in which she played opposite Nagarjuna, she hasn’t signed any big film. While doing Manmadhudu 2, she signed director Chandrasekhar Yeleti film, but her role is not a major one. Rakul is now concentrating on Hindi films.
On the other hand, Pooja Hegde is at the top of the charts following successful films and is in big demand. She is acting opposite Prabhas in one film and opposite Nikhil in another. Most of the top actors want Pooja Hegde as the female lead, but she is quite busy. Samantha is another actress in demand because of her popularity both in Telugu and Tamil. Kiara Advani, Rashmika and a few other actresses are also being approached, but filmmakers are ignoring Rakul Preet.
