A search is on for the female lead of Nithiin’s upcoming film Srinivasa Kalyanam, with several names up for consideration. While it was reported that Rashmika Mandanna could play the lead role alongside Nanditha Shweta, we hear the makers are yet to zero in on the other lead.
“Director Satish Vegesna is keen on a girl who’s got the traditional looks as well as one who can pull off modernity because the film will have some prime wedding sequences. He and producer Dil Raju are still in discussions for the same.
Meanwhile, the success of Tholi Prema where Raashi Khanna’s performance is being lauded, is turning out to be a reason they are considering her now,” shares a source.
The makers were also considering a couple of fresh faces for the role, but Tholi Prema seems to have helped Raashi’s case. However, it is to be seen who finally bags the role.
